    Been coming here for close to twenty years and only get the American Special. Best hero ever. I hate that they're closed Mondays but I'll have to suffer.

    I really enjoy the sandwiches. Just wished most places would be more generous with protein and cheeses. I recall places like these would really pack the sandwiches. It's like everyone is going the chain  subway route with portions.
    Also noticed a small sign with daily specials but paid regular price for sandwiches on a day that discounted second sandwich half off.

    Twice the behind the counter staff were a bit on an unfriendly mood. Not a big deal just a noticeable awkwardness. Still like the sandwiches more compared to other places I frequent.

    Decided to try this place after hearing good things.  I'm sure they are making tons of money. But so much room for improvement from friendliness to quality.    Based on size and amount of meat sandwich would be well worth price.   Shop closes at 8, we were in at 7, facial expressions were not thrilled we walked in and I noticed every time I car pulled up they were like come on already. Meat is not cut to order, it's all pre cut ( by them) to make speed of service. I feel a hero shop with this reputation should slice to order to capture the essence of an amazing sandwich.

    Finally tried them out. Lots of good recommendations. Ordered an Italian with the works and a chicken and mozzarella hero. Very low quality bread. No fresh mozzarella and only sweet peppers should have tipped me off. Italian sub would have been terrific with decent bread though. The grilled chicken sucked! Couple of tough chickeny tasting pieces had me spitting some of it out. Gross!

    We stopped by here on the way to thr LI Gane Farm. The people were friendly and service was fast. We got a foot long hero, half hrro and a huge ice tea for $14. Great price. The sandwich was great.. not cheap with the meat.

    Would definitely come back if i am ever out here.
